Beemer came out of the igloo and slept with Peter for a little while last night. This is good.
Unfortunately, she also is pretty sick with roundworms — throwing up, and starting to become diarrhoeic. So we’ll be hieing us over to the vet clinic in Athy this morning to get some wormer suitable for very young kittens. Poor baby!
Otherwise, she’s still somewhat nervous and unsure of her new surroundings. But when we bring her toys, she plays with them in a manner that’s both tentative and very focused. I think her response right now is kind of muted because she isn’t feeling well. When the worms are history, though, it’s going to be another story….
