As I come in from planting out some geraniums (ok, ok, pelargoniums…be that way…), Peter (having consulted the master online TV guide for the Sky satellite channels) tells me that my episode of Space Island One, “Not In My Back Yard”, will be airing next week, late at night. So I finally get to see the thing in English! Until now I’ve only seen it on one of the German channels on Astra — Sky (having commissioned the series) stopped showing it after eight episodes because it didn’t have enough football, beer or tits in it to compete successfully with their other series Dream Team. (sigh)
Anyway, this calls for some slight celebration. As soon as I finish with the plants, I’m gonna make some midnight soup. (All praise to the Department of Nuclear Chemistry at the University of Mainz! Boy, can those folks cook.)
