It looks as if the import of messages (though not comments) from Blogger to WordPress has gone OK. So now I can get on with other things, like refilling the fishpond (it’s clean now, thank Ghu) and finishing up the last work on chapter 3 of The Big Meow.
(Insert here a small restrained “yippee”, conditional on how fast the aspirin starts to work. Dealing with the plants around the pond has left me with a minor crick in the back.)

Ms. Duane —
Two things. I note that on this comment form, as I’m filling it out in Firefox (which many of your viewers view), the text appears to be an extremely light gray — illegible — on the white. Not sure what’s causing that. 🙂
Also, I am far from adept at WordPress, but I have located a couple of neat “plugins” that do rather cool things with WordPress. I’m not a master-level resource, but if I can be of any assistance to you in getting you pointed in the right direction, please let me know. I’ve done at least some customization on the WordPress blog, so I know a few things.
Hi Mike! Thanks for the thought. I may atke you up on it. 🙂
I’m getting that light gray lettering too, and I’m getting it in a teeny tiny font, about 6 px from the look of it. Heaven only knows what’s causing it.
I think I may have an atypical installation on my hands (fancy way of saying “I Must Have Screwed Something Up”). This message goes into more detail:
